ABOUT THE AUCTIONS
The Art, Books, & Collectibles Auction or ABC Auction for short, is an annual event held by HCI on Facebook, as a fundraiser for our ongoing conservation efforts around the world. It's an effective method to bring people together in appreciation for reptile and amphibian diversity, learning, and art. Of course, it's only possible with the generous donations provided by artists and artisans such as yourself. The donation process is simple. You tell us what you would like to donate by filling out the form below. We then take this information and add it to the auction group found here. From there you hang onto the item until after the conclusion of the auction. Once the winning bidder has paid their donation to HCI, we will release the item for shipping. The winner pays the donor the cost of the shipping and the donor is responsible for shipping said item to the winner. This reduces the carbon footprint of our auctions significantly, but not shipping each item twice, once to us, and then once to the winner. In the end, it is the most ecologically conscience, and user-friendly way we have found to conduct these events.
